The Regional Network for Social Responsibility awarded the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers the “Reliable Community Partner Award for the Regional Network for Social Responsibility for the year 2024,” along with other well-established Arab and international institutions and personalities with qualitative contributions in the field of professional community partnership. This is within the activities of the “Twelfth Forum of Partners of the Regional Network for Social Responsibility for the year 2024”, which was held virtually on January 20, 2024.
The Secretary General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khaled Hanafi, commented on granting him and the Union this prestigious award, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the “Regional Network for Social Responsibility” for granting him the “Reliable Community Partner Award for the Regional Network for Social Responsibility for the year 2024.” Considering that the “Regional Network for Social Responsibility” is one of the important and prominent institutions in the Arab world working to raise the level of awareness about the social responsibility of companies and institutions, and working to strengthen it in companies and institutions, and the governmental, private and private sectors.” Dr. Khaled Hanafi noted that “granting him and the Union of Arab Chambers this prestigious award represents a source of pride, as the Union has always given prominent and exceptional attention to the issue of social responsibility, which contributes to the development of our Arab societies and institutions.”
Hanafi pointed out that “believing in the role of the Union of Arab Chambers in supporting the Sustainable Social Responsibility Initiative, the Union always calls and urges local chambers and companies in the Arab world to adopt the initiative and develop the spirit of sustainable social responsibility in accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and to motivate companies by launching the award for the most socially responsible companies in the Arab world in various sectors and in cooperation with internationally accredited certificates.” He said: “We express our pride and pride in the close cooperation that exists between the Union of Arab Chambers and the Regional Network for Social Responsibility, which aims primarily to serve our Arab peoples.”
Secretary-General Khaled Hanafi stressed, “We are always looking forward to more effective cooperation and coordination in the next phase, in order to achieve our lofty goals in terms of community development.”
